As part of
this expansion, Modular Builders has already hired 10 additional employees at
the company’s Rochester facility and the company will continue to hire additional
staff as the business continues to grow with immediate plans to add several
individuals. In addition to the staff that has been hired on the shop floor,
the plant also utilizes several subcontracting firms for specialized
disciplines as the need and the demand arises. Many of these firms have local
ties to the Fulton County area. “We feel that working with subcontractors not
only supports the community, but keeps our facility flexible to the needs and
wants of our customers” said Dragan. The addition of a new product line a year
ago along with investments in machinery and equipment will also position the
company to continue to grow its business, which now include classroom,
dormitory, medical, and office facilities.
